After we’re happy with functionality and that all data is getting stored properly, we’ll then look to the statistics/queries/reports, and also start funkying-up the user interface.
We’re looking at 3 levels of users at the moment: Club Administrator, Team Captains and Team Members. If you’d like to help out with the beta testing just flick an email to theccmail(at)gmail.com and we’ll send you an invite to be a team captain. It should work in any browser, and we've even got it going using Opera Mini on mobile :-).
STATSMAN ONLINE SOFTWARE FOR CLUBS GOES INTO PRIVATE BETA
While we’ve been working on the development of MyDragNDrop V2.1 development, we’ve also started toying around with an idea for Cricket Clubs (very dear to our hearts of course!). We’ve always wanted to be able to enter a teams score sheet at the end of the match into an online database, and therefore making accumulative tallies and statistics available. So we're internally testing a real bare bones beta, and when bug free we'll be looking to gather feedback as to usability and intuitiveness, ie., can a new user enter a scorebook without having to consult a how-to manual?
